Christmas is…Day 13

Christmas is…

“Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” —Luke 2:9-11

“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” —Romans 5:1-2

Do you live each day confidently and joyfully in all that Christ has done for you? Walk in the light of the Good News of Christmas every day of the year!

Rejoicing in Him!

Do You See What I See? Christmas from the Shepherds’ Perspective

Read: Luke 2:1-21

When reading this part of the Christmas story, I have to tell you, I can’t help but see the Charlie Brown Christmas special in my mind. I love that Charlie Brown quotes this passage of Scripture almost verbatim. What a great childhood memory for me!  And one we shared with our children as they were growing up. And…I still watch it every year!…
